Good value.
Hotel was a little on the northern edge of town.

Exceptional, clean place with amazing views. Spotless room & nice sized bathroom. Stunning, incredible location near many restaurants and very convenient to all of Durango. Also, to the historic downtown area.

Nice and clean, loved the water pressure in the shower
Very loud! We could here everything the people in the room next door were talking about late into the night. The gap under the doors seemed to be the problem. We could even here them in the bathroom.

Room was clean and quiet, loved the bed, very comfortable. Even with the remodeling on the first floor even that was clean.
Nothing of note

Got well-equipped room with a great shower. The location was UNBEATABLE, not too far from Animas Museum. It also was near everything.

The breakfast spread was amazing, especially the freshly baked croissants! The staff was friendly. The noise from the neighboring rooms was a bit distracting at night 😅

The pool & hot tub were well maintained. Smaller size pool, but clean and a decent temp. Nice complimentary breakfast - standard fare - eggs, waffles, cereal, danishes, muffins, juices, etc. Since they did not have a fitness gym, they offered complimentary tickets (you have to specifically ask for these at the front desk - for each day) to the Recreation Center. The Rec Center was great for the kids - slide, lazy river, and a large play area. Big hot tub and a big swimming pool with high/low diving boards. Racquetball & basketball courts. All types of fitness machines. And rock climbing. The free visit to the rec center alone was well worth the stay.
If there was a bad thing, it was the location. It was at the far north end of main avenue. We had a car and this didn't impact us. So we drove easily to the downtown area (maybe 1-2 miles south of the hotel). The downtown area is where everything happens. Dining, shopping, durango & silverton railroad. But not all is lost ... There is a free trolley that stops right out front of the hotel. Unfortunately, in the winter time, the trolley quits running around 7pm. So make sure you have a ride back to the hotel if you are out late.

Very pleased with the hotel. They gave us a pet welcome bag. We had top floor which helps with dogs because they dont bark at the neighbor above them. Top floor is good for pet owner.
Pet area is not kept as nice as the grounds. The area was more weeds. This is actually not good for the hotel because the dry weeds get tracked in by the dog.

The indoor pool and jacuzzi were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Just a heads up, the water dispenser at the front desk could be a bit faster.

Comfy bed!
If you want to be IN Durango, near restaurants, shops, gas stations, this is NOT the place to stay.
